We value real life practical experience highly at Knud E. Hansen A/S. Our staff are sourced globaly to attain the best experience and qualifications for the job. This has resulted in an international work environment, highly appreciative of different working cultures, key to succesful participation in the global shipping and marine industry. Our Staff include:

Most have more than one qualification or area of expertise. A significant percentage of our staff have been with the company for over 20 years. Additional qualifications are; master mariners, chief engineers, captains, shipyard directors, shipbuilders, composite production specialists, professional boat builders, tool makers, civil engineers and surveyours, world champion and professional yachtsmen.

More than 650 vessels have been built to our designs.
More reports of more than 400 hull lines are stored in our data system.
More than 225 conversions have been carried out to our designs and specifications.
More than 500 surveys, studies and other services have been undertaken.
THE FACILITIES
Files and records of more than 70 years' ship design and engineering activities are maintained on our premises.
State of the art software tools and techniques are employed for development of 2D and 3D engineering design solutions, FEM and CFD models, as well as advanced structural design, intact and damage stability calculations.
Due to the nature of our core business, on many occasions in depth analysis and model testing is required. KEH maintain close relationships with the worlds leading research facilities and institutions. This enables us to effectively evaluate which facility should be engaged to provide the best analysis and results possible. |
