STENA FORERUNNER cargo increase conversion complete – KNUD E. HANSEN

Stena RoRo has taken delivery of the STENA FORERUNNER from the Chinese shipyard CMI Weihai, marking the completion of the vessel’s cargo-increase conversion. The ship is now ready to enter service following the same successful upgrade programme previously carried out on its sister vessel, STENA FORETELLER.

As with the FORETELLER, FORERUNNER has been fitted with a new fourth cargo deck above the existing three. This major modification increases lane meters from 3,000 to 4,000, boosting cargo capacity by 30% and reducing emissions per transported unit.
