Chinese shipbuilder Jinling has handed over HOLLANDIA SEAWAYS to DFDS. HOLLANDIA SEAWAYS is the third in a series of six 6,695-lanemetre ro-ro super freighters building for DFDS.

The first two ships were delivered as GOTHIA and BELGIA SEAWYAS but were renamed EPHESUS and TROY SEAWAYS, respectively, following their introduction in DFDS’s Mediterranean network.

DFDS has not announced on what North Sea route HOLLANDIA SEAWAYS will be introduced and the definitive decision will likely depend on the Brexit outcome. It is understood that the fourth ship in the series will be named HUMBRIA SEAWAYS.
