The vessel was designed for Moby Lines of Italy and was delivered by Daewoo, Korea, in the spring of 2001. The vessel is deployed on routes between the mainland of Italy and the islands of Sardinia, Italy and Corsica, France. 170 metres in length and with a gross tonnage of 36,093 tonnes, she has a capacity of 1,880 passengers and 665 vehicles.
KNUD E. HANSEN won the ShipPax Award for Outstanding Ferry Concept of 2001 for Moby Wonder.
