The vessel was designed for Royal Cruise Line, Greece. Built by the former Elsinore Shipyard in Denmark, and with a gross tonnage of 6,800 tonnes, the vessel was delivered in September 1974 and was the first, purpose-built Greek Cruise Ship. In 2013 she remains in active service with a Hong Kong operator nearly 40 years later and has been renamed Macau Success.
